So what exactly is a "Vegan Beauty Product"? I'm glad you ask! Any product that is vegan does NOT contain any form of animal or animal- derived ingredients. Most vegan companies also do not test on animals (we hope to see "most" change to "ALL"). You know that red chapstick you just smeared on your lips? Do you ever wonder where that red color comes from? Wait for it... crushed insects. YUCK. To achieve that infamous red color companies use the cochineal insect, a beetle-like insect, and then dry and crush them into a red powder. This red powder is then added into your lipstick, blushes, and eyeshadows. It really only gets worse from here. Your moisturizer filled with gelatin, collagen, and promises of more radiant skin? Filled with boiled cow and pig hooves, bones, tendons, and ligaments. Ready to make the switch yet? I am ready to provide you with FIVE vegan products covering each step of your beauty regime. Lets start.
Hint: Look for these symbols on your products to make sure they are vegan!

1. MILK VEGAN MILK Moisturizer

Starting with the simple stuff, Milk's Vegan Milk Moisturizer is to die for. This moisturizer has a thick and creamy texture that immediately hydrates the skin as soon as applied! I would definitely compare this to Tatcha's famous moisturizers (not vegan) when comparing consistencies. YUM. Not only is Milk's moisturizer vegan, but definitely pocket friendly coming in at $38 while Tatcha's are nearly $70...
2. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream & Facial Radiance Pads

Say goodbye to dry skin! This cream has been an essential for me these past two winters. Filled with oatmeal, shea butter, and a "FAB" antioxidant booster your skin is practically begging you to try this, but First Aid Beauty doesn't stop there... Try out their Facial Radiance Pads! "A daily treatment pad that contains just the right amount of Lactic and Glycolic Acids to safely and effectively exfoliate, tone, and brighten all skin types, including sensitive." These little pads really help with skin texture and help you achieve a brighter complexion. They also help create a smooth canvas for your makeup and is exactly why I love using them before a night out!

3. Tarte Amazonian 12 hour Clay Blush

Love pigmented blushes? Your search is over when it comes to Tarte's. These blushes are filled with natural ingredients, from real amazonian clay to Vitamin E. There really is no need to reapply this blush because it stays all day! I definitely recommend this to all of you lovely ladies trying to hunt for GOOD and QUALITY vegan make up products.
Hint: Checkout their eyebrow pencils and lip oil!
4. Glossier Lash Stick Mascara

My favorite vegan mascara! You'll never go back after this one... Lengthening and conditioning galore! This mascara does NOT clump up like any old mascara. It is also water resistant, but not waterproof, so it will easily come off with warm water. Tear proof perhaps?
5. LUSH Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser

Last, but not least, a cleanser for everyone! This vegan cleanser is super gentle and leaves your skin feeling refreshed and clean without over drying. Filled with ingredients like kaolin clay, ground almonds, lavender, rose and chamomile oils you won't want to miss out (our your skin). This quick scrub leaves your skin smooth and balanced.
